I really like this blog. I've discussed this with friends too and really thought about the difference in dating a Christian man and a non-Christian man.

The one thing I have experienced is that Christian men have been the ones that have treated me the worst. People will argue and say "Well, then they weren't really Christian then" or "They weren't a good Christian" but I just think it's an excuse. There is no straight-forward criteria to make someone a "good" Christian.

Christian men can disguise themselves as "good" men when in fact their thoughts and feelings are no different than any other man's. I've had Christian men who were so respected in the church say the most disrespectful things about my body. I walked around church wondering how they were fooling everyone and fooling me.

Sometimes they've hid behind God and not as a shield that we should all use but as a reason for their words or behavior. Instead of admitting this is how I feel and I'm too much of a coward to say it's me so I'll say it's God.

Non-Christian men are unintentionally honest about who and what they are about. If they are perverts, a woman can figure it out without much effort. It's like...you know what you're gonna get.

I will say Christian men are the most difficult to trust.

Watch out for the fellow who talks about putting things in order! Putting things in order always means getting other people under your control

Rain usually makes me feel mellow. Curl up in the corner time, slow down, smell the furniture. Today it just makes me feel wet

That is so powerful Jonathan! I am in agreement with you all the way, and I know that because you are sowing bountifully you will reap bountifully! God cannot and will not break your heart because He is who He said He is.
I pray that prayer on all of us as well...in Jesus' name!
Amen.
